Jamie Johnson

Hello! My name is Jamie and I am from America. My home state, Wisconsin, is not popular, but it is famous for cold weather and cheese. After university, I started teaching English to children in Korea. It was a rewarding and enlightening experience. In 2014 I visited Japan and was blown away by its beauty, culture, and people. I decided to work here next, so I moved to Yamaguchi where I taught students of all ages. I enjoy exploring different places, so I am excited to start a new adventure in Mishima. I am especially looking forward to meeting and getting to know all of you in my classroom at eemss!

Iullia Kornilenko

Hello everyone. My name is Iuliia, I am from Ukraine and I am extremely happy to meet you all. I am very excited to be in Mishima! I absolutely love Mt. Fuji! So lucky to live right next to it! Even though I was born in Ukraine I spent most of my life abroad, so I have a lot of interest in teaching and learning languages. Right now English happens to be lingua franca, so whatever happens to you in life, wherever you go, it’s just very helpful to have this tool in your communication arsenal. So see you guys at eemss, and let’s have fun speaking English. You can do it! And I’m here to help you on your way to fluency.

Hisaharu Honma

Hi, there! My name is Hisaharu Honma. I went to the US when I was 21, which was my first trip abroad, and was fascinated with English. After working in Tokyo several years, I went to Australia and lived there for seven years. During those years, I learned a lot, not only English, but also how one can lead a meaningful life. I’m a TESOL certified teacher and have years of experience in teaching. I love teaching English because I feel great pleasure in seeing my students improve. I look forward to seeing you at eemss!
